The Bodsjöleden trail consists of 9 different sections with descriptions of the length, cultural heritage, accessibility and attractions. The trail is marked with orange coloured poles, trees, arrows and signs at the start and end points of the 9 different sections. Recommendation is to wear waterproof walking shoes as the terrain can be very wet and uneven at times.

Total overview of the route
The entire Bodsjöleden trail is marked with orange posts, orange markings on some trees, arrows and signs.
1. Kälen to Gålesån
The trail is about 7 km long. From Kälen you go over waterstreams, wetlands that are fenced, rocky ground, old forest and finally forest road.
At Orrtjärnmyr there is now a nice barbecue area!
2. Gålesån to Sidsjö
The trail is about 9 km long and consists only of gravel road and is suitable for everyone. Along the trail there is the cultural monument Hallhuvidstenen with shelter and barbecue area. The ICA Bodsjö Diverse store is located in Sidsjö and you can buy food and drink there.
3. Sidsjö to Hunge
The trail is about 5 km long and here is the store ICA Bodsjö Diverse and there you can buy food and drink.The whole trail is a snowmobile trail and unfortunately very wet in some places but it is possible to walk next to the snowmobile trail to avoid them and that part is marked.
4. Hunge to Döviken
The trail is about 10 km long. The trail is a snowmobile trail, forest and forest road and finally you end up in the beautiful village of Döviken with barbecue hut and accommodation in the old school and in Hunge there is a comfortable hotel with 8 apartments. See Accommodation
5. Döviken to Flatnor
There are two options here, either via Herravadsströmmen or Åkerviken.
At Herrevadsströmmen you start on private land where Sören and Gunnel Ristander lives and here three trails start together; Forsaleden, Jämt -Norgevägen and Bodsjöleden. The trail is about 13 km long and at the bridge (see map below) you turn left towards strömstugan and on to Skurun/Flatnor. From Åkerviken you walk along Forsaleden to strömstugan and then left towards Skurun/Flatnor. The trail is about 6km long. Jämt-Norgevägen goes all the way to Höviken and via Bodsjöbyn to Pånvägen. 6. Flatnor to Bodsjöstrupen
From Flatnor you walk on the road towards Bodsjö Prästgård and then towards Bodsjöbyn into the forest and out of the forest at where Leif Nilsson lives to Bodsjöstrupen over the road again. The trail is about 6 km long.
7. Bodsjöstrupen to Kyrkkilen
The trail is about 6 km long and consists mostly of rocky ground and forest road. You will pass a nice fishing spot and a reindeer farm. Kyrkkilen is a nice farm and worth it a visit.
8. Kyrkkilen to Tjutboda
The trail is about 8 km long and consists of old forest and forest road. After the bridge there is a windmill and at sverkmyrvägen there is a hut for overnight stays.
9. Tjutboda to Kälen
The trail is about 10 kilometres long and consists of a gravel road, a cow pasture and fine woodland.
